So, I know I said the last 6 were my last additions for this year. But then someone nearby had my favorite type of chicks: Lavender orpingtons!
She wasn’t sure who was a hen and who would be a roo, so I attempted the dangling feet method. Hopefully, these two baby pompoms are girls. So, meet Kida and Gypsy! They’re named for Atlantis and A Bug’s Life.
I had them separated with a grid panel just in case Meeko (giant) or another chick would be a big bully. But they squeezed themselves through and held their own. I can’t wait for my storm cloud chickens.

I’ve acquired an iPad and bought Procreate in an effort to build up a side gig. During an ice cream cuties class, I wanted to make my chicks into cartoon characters.
With that, I’m including a blank to print out and color your chicks into. Have fun!
